In collaboration with the National Centre for Climate Research (NCKF) at the Danish Meteorological Institute (DMI), TipESM hosted a successful outreach event for the Danish stakeholders on the latest tipping point science.



The event was hosted under an umbrella of “Climate Tipping Points – Risks and Impacts”, and provided a space to present and discuss TipESM results on on tipping point mechanisms and connections, the risks they pose, and their
potential impacts on society and ecosystems.
The audience spanned climate advisors, policymakers, think tanks, NGOs, climate councils, private sector, and students. The event was sold out.
Speakers included: Shuting Yang (DMI, TipESM Project Coordinator), Torben Koenigk (SMHI), Didier Swingedouw (CNRS, University of Bordeaux), Andrew Hartley (UK Met Office).
The event was moderated by Adrian Lema (Director, NCKF, DMI).
