Nikki is a research communicator at the Rossby Centre for Climate Modelling at the Swedish Meteorological and Hydrological Institute.  She focuses on disseminating the results of climate research projects, and is interested in understanding what different audiences want to know, and how they want to receive information. 

Nikki has a PhD in Arctic physical oceanography from the University of Southampton, UK, and has worked as a researcher at the University of Oslo and the Norwegian Meteorological Institute.  She also brings eighteen years of experience in policy-making at national and regional level in the UK.

Within TipESM, Nikki contributes to work packages 9 and 10 on outreach and dissemination.
