Tipping points and their driving processes | Robustness and (ir)reversibility of tipping points
Lester Kwiatkowski is a CNRS research scientist based at the LOCEAN laboratory of Sorbonne Univeriste in Paris. His research focuses on how atmospheric CO2 and climate affect the biogeochemistry of the oceans and the implications for diverse marine ecosystems. He primarily utilises numerical model ensembles (ocean biogeochemical models and Earth System Models) to address research questions of scientific and environmental policy interest.
Within TipESM (WP2/3) Lester is involved in the identification of potential physical and biogeochemical tipping points in the global oceans and the consequences for ecosystems and carbon budgets.
