Hazel has a background in environmental chemistry, followed by a career in research management & leadership in the UK and European research environment. She currently works at the policy, public and stakeholder engagement interface on several Earth system modelling projects including tipping points, climate impacts, mitigation strategies.

In TipESM, Hazel works in WP9/WP10 to provide expertise and input to knowledge integration and communicating to policy audiences. Hazel is also one of the coordinators for the #ClimateResearchNet a climate communication network across over 20 EU projects.
