Chuncheng Guo
Climate Researcher, Danish Meteorological Institute
Earth System Modelling protocols, simulations, and data | Tipping points and their driving processes | Clustering, project and data management
Chuncheng has a background in physical oceanography. He works on ocean and climate modelling for the past, present, and future climate, with particular interests in the (bi)polar and subpolar regions. He has been working with the Norwegian Earth System Model (NorESM) and now has started to work with EC-Earth. He is involved in running EC-Earth3-ESM simulations in the OptimESM and TipESM projects, and will contribute to the CMIP7 (fast track and beyond) developments and simulations with EC-Earth4.
Chuncheng will be carrying out the so-called ramp-up/stabilization/ramp-down simulations according to the TIPMIP ESM protocols, and contribute to the analysis of various processes in the different components of the earth system.
