Earth System Modelling protocols, simulations, and data | Clustering, project and data management
Dr. Shuting Yang is a Senior Climate Scientist at the Danish Meteorological Institute and the Project Coordinator for TipESM. Shuting began her career with a background in dynamical meteorology, where she focused on understanding the physics of the atmosphere. Over time, her interest expanded from a theoretical understanding to a broader comprehension of the climate as an integrated system. This led her to transition from simple atmospheric modelling to more complex Earth system modelling.
In TipESM, Dr. Shuting Yang serves as Project Coordinator and co-leads WP9/WP10, focusing on Clustering, project and data management. Dr Yang is also heavily involved in ESM protocols, simulations and data where she sets out to understand if there are risks for any sort of abrupt change, and under what conditions with Earth system model simulations which she will help design and analyse the coming results.
